The horizontal vantage was imbued with scarlets and golds as the sun settled low in the sky. The gleam of the Sun was lessened greatly as she began to resign for the night and allowed Moon to take over. Hues of red and gold warmed the drying grass in the last of her fading glow. Pink streaked the heavens as it slowly turned to a navy blue color. The shadows slowly grew; hiding what had reason to be hidden, creating a melancholy atmosphere. Hills rolled over the land and mountains uprooted from the terrain like waves tossed in the sea, the tops of each were capped in snow. Fields of green were forced in different directions, like a ripple of water in the cool night breeze. Colors of red, blue, and yellow flooded the green fields. Puffs of clouds blanketed the young Moon, blocking the light he provided every so often, leaving the land in a dark oblivion of shadows. The constant hoot of owls poured over the terrain like rain, relentless until Moon's light escaped the cover of the gloomy overcast and all fell silent. Bordering the vast plains was a daunting forest where rays of clear light from Moon seeped through the brambles of the tree tops. His fingers delicately caressed the plants that happened to grow under the leaks in the trees, giving them a gentle glow of calmness and love. His clutch grew even more wide spread as the night continued and nearly all the land was under his protective hand of light. A large river snaked over the terrain and passed through the forest, riding the hills until it reached beneath the mountains into a pond. Not far off was a large hole in the ground that led to secret tunnels that seemed to have no end so long as you continued to choose the correct path to follow.

The pack's land stretches across a vast valley and a thick forest. A large portion of the plains are owned by the pack as well as most of the forest. Bordering the forests and plains are large mountain sides, they are somewhat unclaimed as they are far too dangerous to live in. Flowing over all the land that is owned by the pack is a large river that eventually leads into a waterfall, this river starts at a large lake.
To the south of the plains and mountains is a large lake that lies beneath the plains' plateau. From the plateau there is a winding pathway that will take you down to the body of water. The Lake of Tears earned its name after an old folk tale. It is said that a female wolf's pups were killed by another creature. After this she began to cry so much that her tears created a lake that would be able to transport the lost souls of her pups to the west side of the lake. It is also said that if a soul makes the journey to the west side of the lake, they will find the "other-side" or a portal to the dead realm and otherwise be complete through their death and be eternally happy. Also, a large stream sprouts from the north side of this lake, it coils over most of the land and winds its way through the mountains. It makes it's way up once reaching the mountains for some time before it levels out once more and leads to a large waterfall that pours into a spring.
This river is referred to as The Ribbon. It is a very deep and wide river with very swift currents and rapids. Although it seems impossible to cross there are two low seasons, in the summer and fall, and in the winter it's normally frozen over. Being frozen over doesn't make it any easier to cross, though, the ice is thin and is liable to break when put under stress by the weight of wolves. In the spring the snow melts causing the river to overflow and cascade very quickly down to the far off waterfall. If you follow The Ribbon long enough, you'll occasionally come across stepping stones for you to use to cross during the bad seasons.
Bordering the vast plains to the north is a range of mountains that sprout from the terrain. The peaks grow past the clouds it seems, it's as though the mountains force themselves to stop growing or they would reach space. Many pathways are in the mountain ranges but they are hard to navigate through and are very cold once you reach a certain altitude. It is hard for many wolves and other Ailis.
To the east of the plains there is a large, daunting forest. The trees grow high into the sky and the canopy is thick, allowing little or no light to seep through and lighten the floors of the woods. The under growth is thick and there are many chances of you finding yourself in thorns as you travel here. The forest is a beautiful danger to all those who reside here. Its gentle glow casts a melancholy feeling over the terrain but its beauty can convince you out of its scariness. Monsters loom here, in the dark clutches of the shadows they always watch. There are, however, light areas in this forest, these are the areas the pack controls but they only control 1/3 of this wood.
There is a large cave in the center of the forest that slowly leads underground. Once underground many paths appear before you, each pathway leads you somewhere else and many of them just lead to different dead ends. The few paths that do lead somewhere, however, lead you to one specific area; one has an exit where there is a small hole hidden by a few large boulders that are to the side of The Lake of Tears. Another path takes you to the plains, next to a small savanna tree. A third path takes you to the spring in the mountains. It comes up through the secret hideaway behind the waterfall. Then, the final, "correct", path leads you behind the mountains into unknown territory. As you follow different paths underground, you'll find many bones from other creatures that went into the tunnels and didn't find their way out. If you are to stumble upon the underground passageways, the best way to get out is to be methodical about it, take your time and carefully choose your paths. Otherwise you risk the chance of being stuck down there forever.
